Casa do Pontal - Puppet Museum

Our second stop Saturday morning was at a puppet museum. The first section that included clay figurines portraying various professions and scenes from everyday lives was my favorite.

This one for all who grew up in India, 50 or more years ago...

The circus scenes were reminiscent of many childhood visits to the circus, complete with depictions of animals diving through rings of fire, a woman in a canon ready for blast off, another woman being sawed in half, and yet another mounted on a board amidst daggers from a sword thrower.
